Time marches on. Well we are back from Eugene our kids did oretty good. "Spitty" our apricot brindle girl was enetered in both the REMC and the MCOA sweeps and both Specialty regular classes. she won her class every time except for the REMC Sweeps where she placed third. Jimmy's daughter SHirley Cha Cha out of Indy - Ana won her open fawn class at the MCOA Specialty and the REMC Specialty. There was only 4 bitch Specials pulled for the REMC Specialty and 3 were Lamars  Pistol,Star and Vivala. That was nice. Star and Vivala both made the cut at the MCOA Specialty. We had tons of fun having our annual wine and cheese social playng our favorite drinking game flip cup..:-) Oh did I mention we have a new puppy now? THANK YOU so much for this beautiful boy Carlos Flaquer for "Chapar'  I will upload pics of him on my boys page.
After returning home 2 days later on June 2nd Ihad hip replacement surgery I am happy to say surgery went well and I am up and moving around hope to be on a cane by next week. " Spitty" has finally broken her brindle losing streak and got one reserve and 2 best of winners this weekend.

I kept 2 boys here Beamer and Rocco. Beamer is WELL on his way to being a Champion just like his big Sis Vivala who finished at 8 months he almost tied taking yet another reserve to a 4 point major last Sunday after WINNING a 5 point major on Saturday.!!! He is such a handsome boy. His first weeeknd out at 6 months he won 3 out of 4 days. He now has 12 points and needs one major to finish....
We are packing up to make the trip up to Eugene for our National Specialty. Taking 6 dogs along ,of course Jimmy is going for the ride he is the official co-pilot !
In attendance Vivala,Star,Spitty,Rocco & Beamer. I am going to have a fabulous time and see lots of old buddies and hopefully meet some new.
Jimmy & Indy' baby girl Shirley Cha Cha will be there too. Cant wait to see her & her Momma Cheryl again..
Jimmy's daughter " Pistol" was asked to be in the judges education seminar. Following in her Daddy's footsteps who was asked a couple years ago. What a nice compliment.
3 days after my return home I go in for a hip replacement.!! I cant wait for that too...:-( I will drink enough wine that week so I try not to think about it..:-)

I have been very lax in updating my web page. Lots has gone on of course. Jimmy's girls have been doing extremely well. Super Star of course winning winners at the National in N. Carolina, and just recently getting her first BOB at 21 months ,Pistol got a Group placement this year and Indy & jimmy's baby girl " Cha Cha " Owned by Cheryl Hendricks ( all 183 pounds of her ) took winners bitch at the REMC Regional Specialty this year at 10 months of age. That makes Jimmy girls 2 for 2 with Specialties this year..:-) We have 2 Jimmy litters on the ground now with hopefully another one coming soon in Wisconsin. More on that breeding later.I could not be more happy with what Jimmy has been consistentley producing type, structure, soundess and fab temperaments. We have been blessed this year with  healthy happy pups to show looking forwaerd to next year's crop...:-)

WOW WHAT IS NEW???  We drove across country to North Carolina for the Mastiff Club of America's National Specialty. Vivala was entered in Fururity,Sweeps , Tournament of Champions and Best of Breed. I had contemplated holding her out to try to finish her championship at the Specialty than I decided since she was winning UNDEAFETED from the 6-9 class I would go ahead and see if I could finish her undefeated not only did she finish at 8 1/2 months without ever losing her class or winners ( not taking BOW only one time ) she finished by going Best of Breed over 5 Specials from the 6-9 class a couple of them are top ranked to boot.. We are so proud of Vivala.  In Futurity Vivala got her first 2nd place ribbon ever..     Her brother Beaumont who is co-owned by Kirsten Ludwig and her mother J. Daley and lives in Wisconsin won his class and got Best of Op Puppy in Futurity YEAH BEAU !!!!
The next day was Sweeps Vivala won her class won best puppy AND WON Grand Sweepstakes winner..!!! WTG " Vivala" Then comes the Tournament of Champions now mind you these are all finished adult Champiions that our 10 1/2 month old puppy is competing against. I did not hold out much hope since she is so young but she is such a nice girl.
When they were announcing the winners it starts at 4th runner  up and goes up to Grand Tournament winner by the time they got to 2nd runner up  I felt oh well she showed well and than when they called out Vivala's name for FIRST runner up I was speechless !!!!!!  WOW our baby girl beat out all those big Mastiffs I am so thrilled I really want to thank the judges who recognized Vivala's qualities even at such a young age. Laura Spear, Nancy Harvey and Mary Speers. Thank you so much !!!!!! This honor has truly made this Specialty one of my all time favorites !!!
Vivala did not make the cut in BOB she is too young and I understand that I am just so happy all that she had accomplished before BOB.
It is not over yet as if that wasnt enough in Sweepstakes Star ( Lamars Belle's Super Star ) a Jimmy daughter out of an Opie .Molly daughter Ch.Lamars Belle Star took 2nd place in her class it was a big class the judge liked her very much I was happy with a ribbon for her. Saturday was the Bitch classes there were 22 females in Stars class the biggest class of the show I think. He split the class in half 11 in each class I was a wreck he kept moving them and looking at fronts than rears.  Finally he picked Star for first in her class and went 2 ,3 and 4 I was happy he picked her first but than realized she still had 11 more females to beat ARRGGHH !!!
He brought the next class which had the girl that beat Star in Sweepstakes in it. Now  I am really stressed out he picks 4 from that class with that female not being placed first my hopes are up now...:-)
He brings us all back in again and has all the girls stand side by side with Star being in front. Than he tells them to take them around Star won that huge class !!!!!!!!!!!!! Now she goes in for winners. Star is just 16/12 months old she is by far the biggest girl out there she stood out like a sore thumb after the fact I talked to a couple of people and the opinions were that Star was a stand out !  He pointed at her for winners and I must have screamed I dont know I was SOO sxcited...
So now Jimmy J is the sire to a Group placing bitch ( Ch.Lamars Locked N Loaded at Bluelead  co-owned by Rosie & Darwin Dickson ) and a national Specialty winning bitch. WOW !!!!!!!
By the way Star's first time in the ring at 11 months old she got a 3 point major so now she has her majors out of the way.
The trip home was LONG but  was floating.:-)

SPRING COMES TO CAMP LAMARS !  THE ORCHARD IS IN BLOOM I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR..:-)
